EARTH SCREENING | NHA PAVILION EXPO 2015

Project: The team led by RecchiEngineering, and composed of Carlo Ratti Associati, Nussli, Manens-Tifs and M. Durbano, won the contract awarded by New Holland for the Dutch pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015. The building, dedicated to the theme of sustainable agriculture, featured moving robotic agricultural machinery in a large field of crops on the roof. Inside, digital display screens were used to reproduce a sort of “augmented reality”, to help visitors to the pavilion learn more about crop cycles and the principles of sustainable agriculture.
