Client: BENI STABILI SIIQ
Place: Turin – Italy
Period: 2015 – present
Project: The building, built in 1979 – 1982 and destined to serve as Fiat’s Executive Headquarters, was designed by the architects Tullio Passarelli and Ludovico Quaroni. It lies in a strategically important location for the city.
The office building is currently undergoing a thorough restoration and conservation project, including structural reinforcement and systems renovation.
The project’s aim is to repurpose the building as a multifunctional structure whose floor plan would provide flexibility in arranging the interior spaces.
Special attention is being paid to studies of seismic vulnerability, to ascertain the building’s compliance with the regulations in force. RecchiEngineering has been and continues to be a technical consultant, as well as handling insurance, coordinating safety and managing project control.
